MICRO-METHS EASTERN SWITZERLAND late August 2022
A group of 4 was expected but 2 dropped out due to travel problems (and the weather was foul!) Then, shortly before the fixed date, 2 others pitched up so we were on! Day One V & I led a short hike in the Obertoggenburg, ending with a super meal at our favourite pub in Starkenbach .. Carol-Anne & Steven led Day 2, scrambling up to Oberbachen 4026 .. followed by a delicious late lunch at the Berggasthaus . And the sun shone on both days! (Yes, it does help to speak to the Man Upstairs ) the views were spectacular we could just make out Lake Konstanz, some 30 miles to the North, whilst to the East was a clear view of the highest point in E. Switzerland - the Sδntis Peak.
Yes, we stuck to the rules, viz: pub at start and finish and 3 peaks (sort of)
