Huw Jenkins reports:

Mini METHS Snowdonia October 2007

Mini is a bit grand, micro would be better.  Total turn out of 4 included myself as the only METHS person, plus Nick and Jane Moore (Malawi 1980 to 1986) and Laurence Summerhill who took part in the Triglav METHS event and went on holiday to Malawi some years ago.  Photo taken by Laurence shows 3 of us at the start of the Nantlle Ridge with Snowdon in the background.  The sun shone bright for the whole weekend.

For those of you with fond memories of Triglav you may like to know it is twinned with Snowdonia.  I made a return visit to Triglav in the summer and am making a film comparing the wondrous things to be seen in each park.  Their ibex look a bit more nimble than our wild goats!  Attached link takes you to a short write up about the visit and to the first of two radio programmes. http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/northwest/sites/nature/pages/snowdonia_slovenia.shtml
